A family centered speech and language practice providing, consultations, evaluations and ongoing treatment to children from infancy through adolescence.
Following a combined 25 years of experience in speech language pathology, in a variety of settings including early intervention, medically based intervention, and educationally based intervention, we joined together to open a private practice to service the speech, language and feeding needs of the community. We have now been open for 19 years and continue to enjoy every minute with each our clients. Our clinicians are ASHA and state certified.
Our Services
Pediatric and Adolescent Speech Therapy Associates provides individual and group therapy to children from birth through adolescence with a variety of communication and feeding disorders. In addition, we conduct comprehensive speech, language and feeding evaluations, bilingual (English/Spanish) evaluations and pragmatic communication assessment and consultation.
Scheduling
We provide flexible scheduling, including numerous after school and weekend appointments.
About Us
Our practice is unique in that it offers clinicians with extensive and specific training in the areas of fluency/stuttering, PROMPT, developmental verbal apraxia, bilingual language development, and social pragmatic skills. All of our therapists have comprehensive knowledge and clinical training across all speech and language domains including: articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, and cognition.
Location
We are located at 51 N Main Street in West Hartford. Our location is a short distance from exit 43 (Park Road) off or Interstate 84. Ample off-street and on-street parking is available.
